Pay: $18 - $22 Per Hour

Job Type: Full Time

Summary

Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, consulting on Truck Lube service needs, and managing service orders from start to finish.

Focus

Essential duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous and effective service.
• Keep customers informed on completion times, service expenses and possible changes.
• Upsell other Truck Lube services to customers.
• Process repair orders from start to finish.
• Greet customers and answer incoming phone calls and emails.
• Balance the cash drawer, credit card activity and counter sales daily.
• Clean the lobby area and stock products and supplies as needed.
• Maintain a professional image at all times.
• Follow the company's safety rules and safety policies.
• Follow all Truck Lube department processes.

Skills & Experience

• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read and write effectively.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• Must be a team player.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Physical Demands

• Oral communication in person and over the phone.
• Ability to view a computer monitor.
• Regularly required to stand and sit.
• Alpha/numeric keyboarding.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Requires the use of both hands.

Work Environment

• The work environment for this position is varied due to the differences in our work site. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic conditions and outside weather conditions.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
• Works indoors and occasionally outdoors.
• Some weekends and evening hours may be required.
